What or who is O.T.W.G. and what do they do?
Since 1988 O.T.W.G. is a group of Northeast Nebraska / Northwest Iowa people, who are interested in building, working on, and racing radio control cars and trucks. We run R/C (radio controled) races at two tacks in this area. We race offroad during the summer in Hadar Nebraska our members have raced at many regional and national level events. O.T.W.G. members would like to help you get involved in the R/C hobby! We will help the aspiring racers, or anyone, with interests in radio control cars. We want others to share and enjoy our hobby. RADIO CONTROL CAR/TRUCK RACING IS A FUN, COMPETITIVE, CHALLENGING, TECHNICAL, COMBINED HOBBY & SPORT, AND INEXPENSIVE. Get the right advice from your local hobby store, they will give you the best prices they can. Support your local hobby store, you’ll appreciate the long term money saving tips that they provide. Our “on-site” hobby store is Heartland Hobbies. They offer a full range of racing parts and supplies. From car kits to batteries to tires and other replacement parts, for both onroad and offroad racing. They specialize in R/C racing. The OVER THE WALL GANG club has been in existence since 1988, actively promoting radio control car racing. OVER THE WALL GANG is always interested in adding new members who are interested in helping others get involved our hobby and operating our race tracks. Members receive race discounts and free use of club technical equipment. Club members can participate in all decisions regarding, rules, regulations and racing policies. Your participation will be greatly appreciated. OVER THE WALL GANG is a club dedicated to the promotion of the radio control racing hobby. All profit from race fee’s, memberships and snack bar are used to maintain, upgrade and promote our hobby. OVER THE WALL GANG runs all races following ROAR rules. Our races are scored with an AMBrc electronic lap counter and JLap computer scoring software.

Race time 6 minute heats and mains for all classes except Novice which will run 5 minutes heats and mains Other classes with enough interest
Super Stock Classes = 13.5 brushless also 17.5 and brushed 27 turn motors.
We will start racing at 11:00 am and limit time between races and rounds. We will make a change to our points by adding another through out during the series so we will only count your best 10 of 12 races.
LiPo batteries are allowed in all classes. If you run LiPo batteries you MUST use a LiPo charger set for charging LiPo batteries. You should charge your batteries in a fire safe container for your safety and the safety of others.. Brushless motors are allowed in all classes. For stock classes 27 turn brushed motors will run with 13.5 or 17.5 brushless motors. |
